Another Snow Day!

Today is another Snow Day so I'm gong to use this day to post some highlights on what has been going on.  So you will be seeing some new post.  All boys are doing great in school.  We have paid the lawyer the rest of the fees so we can move forward with the 3 boys adoption.  Well for Randy to adopt them and we all can be the WEEKLY FAMILY.  Like we are not already but this makes it official and no on can do anything about that.  We have decided to take a break on the other Adoption journey for the time being.(China)  It breaks my heart to wait but we have waited this long we have some things to figure out or things that worry me.  So when we get back from vacation we will hopefully get back on track.  We have not reached many of the Goals we had set so we could adopt from china that is the main worry MONEY the Money we bring in is not enough.  Now that we will be reaching our 5 years of being married mine 2 that is what the hole up was at first.  Now the money I know people say if you are meant to adopt the money will come but our problem is well we would be classified as middle class on our income maybe low income.  So when we get back in June we will move forward and see were GOD leads us.  Daylon is still having medical issues  we go back to Omaha in May so hope there could be some answers then.  Just been busy, frustrated, busy and that is why I have not posted much.  I'm still here and I do read the other blog's I follow.  Hope everyone is well.

Conner's Field Trip

Conner and his classmates sold Little Cesar Pizza to raise funds to go to Lincoln.  They did a great job!

All Ready to go it was a early Morning to get all the kids on the bus.  

On the way the roads got bad this was the 3rd accident we came up on.  That I was fast enough to get the camera on to take a picture of.

2013 Anual Soup and Pie Troop 293

Superbowl Sunday

Well we are really not fans of watching Football.  Now if Patrick would of know Football was on he may of had it on.  I did turn the T.V on to see if I could find it and well I couldn't.  It was not that hard to go trough all the 4-6 channels we have just depends on the day and the weather on how many channels we have.  So the t.v has been off all day.  And the boys have enjoyed being outside today.  Today was the day to clean out the fridge and pull out the meat out of the freezer for the week of meals.

Last week meal plan:
Monday-Turkey and Dumplings Turkey used from the turkey I cooked to make room in the freezer for our beef that we need to fit in there.
Tue-Left Overs- We has Parent teacher Conferences and everyone is doing Great.
Wed- Oven Tacos
Thur- Loaded Baked Potato Soup- this was AWESOME served with some biscuits.  The family is asking when am I going to make this again.
Fri- Sausage Gravy and Biscuits 
Saturday- Meat loaf and Mac N Cheese
Sunday- Apple Glazed Roast I used Beef and it turned out just fine

Also I have been doing so much better at the store making my list and sticking to it.  I only need to go to the store for a few things for this week.  Monday I go back to the Doctor to see how much I have lost and to see were I need to go from there.  If you could please put our family in your prayers my sister is going through a tough time right now and we will not know anything tell maybe tell Tuesday.

Save Save all about Saving

The other day I was sitting at the table looking at the newspaper adds for Groceries.  In another add there was many things on sale but I didn't want to go to 3 different stores.  So it goes to back a week ago when I went to the big W to get a few things and there was a nice gentleman that had the same ideas as us for dinner was lasagna.  We pick up or noodle the go get the cheese.  He told me that they will do a price match that another store had it on sale.  I was like oh yeah Thank you and went on my way and meet up at the next stop.  And he noticed that I picked up cottage cheese and ricotta cheese.  He asked if I put the cottage cheese in with it.  So I explained to him how I did it and he went on his way.  So let get back to looking at the adds I made my list on what I was going to make for the week by what was on sale mostly.  And off to the big W.  List and the adds so if they had any questions I would have it.  When checking out I had no problems.  1. So my new things is to save save were ever we can.  That is one of our goals.  So what we save we can put back for our adoption.  2. Big goal is have 7,000 saved by march.  March 1 have application filled out and sent back in.  4. If we purchase soda (Randy's bad habit) or tea at the gas station that's fine but then we have to put a 1.50 in our adoption pot for each drink that was bought.  So this year 2013 is all about trying to cut back a little more and put that money back. 

All over the place

It is getting closer to March. I been talking with Randy on my thinking, rethinking and so on about were we are suppose to go.  He is so much better at believing in were we are going and believing that we can do it.  Awhile back we have set some goals for our self's on getting a few things done.  I look back on those and we cant cross any of them off.  So there are a few things that we are doing different is we redid our GOAL list.  And we are going to keep it were we can SEE it.  Not tucked away in a notebook.  And we are going from there.  I have been having a hard time on were we are to go and do.  I thought we were lead another way and it turn out we were not.  So we are going to try and stay on our plan A not plan B's.  So March 1st we are going to fill out the application for Holt to adopt hoping from China.  I'm excited but so scared.  Scared because of many reasons.  1.  Is it going to be a NO!  I have been reading some other blogs that I follow and on one of them she hit it right on the head on how I was feeling.  Thank you Kelly.

Christmas From Germany

Yesterday the mailman was at our door with a package.  I thought oh it my blanket that I ordered that they were finally here.  So I brought it in and look who it was from It was from our Daughter from GERMANY.(If you don't know we hosted Eva here in America)  I was so surprised she did not tell me that she sent a package.

Doctor visit and a Trip to the Zoo

It has been fast passe her at the house.  Tuesday(Jan 8) we headed to Omaha to the Children Hospital.  Daylon has been having more issues with the bathroom so we took him back for a check up.  While we were away we decided to take a break and we went to the zoo.  It was so fun.  Today the doctor called to check up on him.  I explained to her that he was having a lot of pain so I went ahead and done the clean out.  And did not wait for the weekend to do it.  And that he was still having the bathroom issues.  So she asked if the poo came out like the way she had told me before. I said yes.  She said well he should be feeling better by Monday if not to call.  And she would let me know what to do next.  She also brought it to my attention that when he had his x-ray done to see if there was blockage of poo that the x-ray tech noticed something different about his Spina Bifida.  They want us to come back to Omaha to see another specialist to discuss what they saw.  I will call them on Monday to set this up.

 This guy was laying way on the other side of his home.  He came right to the glass that I was looking through and let me take his picture.  As soon as I took it he walked away and went to lay down.

 Baby lions were born on Dec 29 2012 and we got to see them.  There were 5 of them

We were unable to see Conner favorite Gorilla.  They were put away because of the cold weather.
