The Cook's Helper

If you are looking for any of my recipes I will post them here:

Pork Chops with Apple Stuffing

4 pork chops, 1-inch thick
salt and pepper for taste(or what ever seasoning you like)
5tbsp melted butter
1 1/2c seasoned stuffing(dry)
1large apple with peel, cu into chunks
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 small onion, thinly sliced

1.  Trim all fat off chops, sprinkle with salt and pepper, set aside
2.  In a large bowl add melted butter or margarine to stuffing and toss.
3.  Add apple, celery, and onion to stuffing and toss.
4.  Spoon a layer of stuffing onto bottom of a buttered 2-quart casserole dish(I use non stick spray to cut down the fat).
5.  Put chops on top of stuffing
6.  spoon rest of stuffing around, between and over chops.
7.  Cover and bake at 375 for 1 hour 30 minutes

We have 6 in our family, I add two more chops, one more apple, few more celery stalks, medium onion.
